Emirates has seen success with its non-stop flights between Dubai and America’s West Coast (Los Angeles and San Francisco). So much success, in fact, that the carrier is launching daily non-stops from both California cities starting on May 1, 2009.

Starting last year, Emirates began operating three flights per week between Dubai and LA and San Francisco, but new flights will give travelers the chance to depart both cities at 4:45 PM PT each day (flights land in Dubai after 7:00 PM local time on the following day).

In order to provide more perks and incentives for West Coast travelers, Emirates has initiated several specials for both first class and economy passengers:

    • The Global Cash + Mileage promotion offers reduced airfare plus extra miles to Skywards members traveling to Dubai. The offer is available for booking April 14-May 31 for outbound travel April 15-June 15, 2009 (inbound travel must be within 30 days of outbound journey).
    • The Global Bonus Miles promotion offers triple miles to travelers in first and business class between now and June 30, 2009.
    • First class passengers traveling roundtrip on Emirates May 15-September 15, 2009 will receive two complimentary nights at The Address, Downtown Burj Dubai, a voucher booklet with exclusive discounts at The Dubai Mall and entrance to mall attractions, including Dubai Aquarium, Underwater Zoo and Dubai Ice Rink. Roundtrip business class passengers will receive one complimentary night at The Address, Downtown Burj Dubai, as well as all other items mentioned above.
