Southwest Airlines Opens Priority Security Lanes at Sea-Tac

Southwest Airlines continues to sweeten the deal for its Business Select passengers. Along with priority seating, bonus miles, and a free drink, Business Select travelers also enjoy priority security or “Fly By” lanes at a number of airports across the country. Now travelers flying out of the Seattle/Tacoma area can enjoy that perk, as well.

The “Fly By” lane is intended to make things quicker and easier for business travelers going through security. Shorter lines, no large families to get stuck behind, and fewer confused first-time fliers should make things move a little quicker.

Is a faster security line, along with the other perks, worth the extra cost of a Business Select fare? Let us know what you think.

Forbes has once again released its list of the Top 10 airports in the world. This list (based on results from a Skytrax survey) is, as most Top 10 lists, highly subjective. However, it does rate airports in over 40 categories including shopping, dining, and wait times, and the survey takes into account the answers of over 8 million travelers.

So, the results are in, and once again Hong Kong International Airport took top honors. It was one of several Asian airports to crack the Top 10. Europe saw a few of its major hubs make the list, as well, but not one airport in the United States made the grade.
