Over the past several weeks, we’ve been taking a look at international business class cabins on a range of U.S. and EU-based carriers. As more routes open up to airlines on both sides of the Pond, we’re seeing business class redesigns and added amenities almost across the board. Today, we’re focusing on Continental Airlines and their Boeing 757 international business class offerings. You can enjoy a bit of luxury on the 757 on flights to Barcelona, Belfast, Berlin, Birmingham, and more. Keep reading for a glimpse of the perks you’ll find on Continental Airlines international business class… |
Comfort on Continental Airlines International Business Class
While we’ve seen a number of true flat beds and full recline seats in other business class cabins, you can’t quite get there on Continental Airlines. However, their seats do offer a recline of 156 degrees. Seats are also 20″ in width, so most folks will enjoy some decent elbow room.
Seats also feature lumbar support, a foot rest, and in-seat power for your adapter.
Entertainment on Continental Airlines International Business Class
Like the majority of carriers these days, Continental Airlines provides international business class passengers with on-demand entertainment. You can choose from a range of movies, short programs, and music; or you can follow a flight map as you head to your destination. Sit back, relax, and check out The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (hey, that’s what they’re advertising on their site).
While Continental Airlines doesn’t necessarily provide the level of luxury and amenities as we’ve seen from other carriers, the airline prides itself on its international business class customer service. Passengers in business class enjoy a 1 to 8 crew-to-passenger ratio, which is still one of the best among major carriers.
