Earlier this week, we highlighted Continental Airlines’ business class airfare to Europe. We also looked at some of the cheap business class flights on British Airways. Continental Airlines has offered this airfare sale regularly for the last six years or so, and the deals are always good. Some of Continental’s European competitors have regularly matched (or come relatively close) to matching airline ticket prices on several routes, as well. But, as Joe Brancatelli points out on Joe Sent Me, for some reason this year the Continental airfare sale seems to lack some of the excitement it’s had in the past… |
Joe is quick to point out that with rising fuel costs and fees/taxes on flights to Europe, sale prices on airline tickets are notably higher than in previous years. Couple this with the weakened dollar, and people are faced with European travel conditions that are less than favorable. However, if you want to fly business class to Europe, the Continental airfare sale still gives you some of the best prices you’re going to find. So, as Joe himself says, “Shop away. As I say every year, this is the Fred Sanford of business-class sales: The BIG one.”
